Well, it is here one minute, gone the next…

Nevertheless I managed to snap these on the Meadows on a sunny, spring-like day…and on a cold, wet, miserable day like today, its nice to look at them.

Pottery Stones

These photos were taken on a visit to Highland Stoneware, Lochinver. All around there are examples of the work, dotted around the landscape. The landscape of the Scottish Highlands seems to be a major influence on the pottery designs as well.

Amongst the rocks leading up to the pottery there are sheep, fish, flowers, landscapes and much more.

Loch Assynt features in some of the landscapes, although I couldn’t find a broken pot with their design, here is a picture of the loch, against a rather cloudy sky (how appropriate!).

Knockan

Some cake survived to be photographed. Next time I'll remember to take the photo first! This is Dark Chocolate, Coffee, Walnut and Almond cake - one day I'll post the recipe on cookalicious.
